Material and purpose: Preparation of ceramic paste
[Reason for purchasing our product and subsequent benefits]
This system is used to mix/deaerate pastes for the purpose of manufacturing ceramic molded products for use in small components. Since the blending ratio of alumina powder is large, stepped operation is performed at low speed for the first step and at medium to high speed for the second step (rotation-revolution ratio: 0.5 to 1.0). This operation ensures efficient processing free from lumps.

Object material and purpose: Preparation of slurry
[Problem before purchase]
This customer had a small system made by another manufacture, but the dispersive state was poor because the revolution speed vs. rotations was low. Balls for dispersion were added as a countermeasure.

A test was conducted using the KK-100 with almost the same processing capacity. Favorable conditions resulted when the rotation-revolution ratio was around 0.5 to 0.7 and a better dispersive state of slurry was obtained than when balls were used with the other manufacturer's system.

The customer used another manufacturer's small system to prepare seals for key tops in small batches

The use of the KK-500 improved the operation efficiency because seals could be prepared in large batches. The system operation was very stable and problem-free. About two years later, the customer also purchased a KK-100 for a different purpose.

The customer purchased our product because they had a large model for processing of large quantities for commercial production and also because the paste manufacturer's containers could be used in the system as they were.

Material and purpose: Preparation of fluorescent paste
[Problem to be solved]
A test was conducted using another manufacturer's product, but the rotation speed was too fast and the rotation-revolution ratio could not be controlled. Therefore, powder with large specific gravity accumulated at the bottom of the container.

The customer effectively used the rotation/revolution speed control mechanism; this allowed them to efficiently achieve uniform dispersion by setting the rotation speed at the slightly lower level 7, at which the rotation-revolution ratio became about 2:3.

Material and purpose: Deaeration of high-viscosity ink for coating
[Problem to be solved]
The customer used approx. 10 small systems made by another manufacturer for the above purpose. However, this involved many time-consuming operations and each processing batch was so small that the deaeration effect was limited.

Two KK-100 systems for 2-cup processing were purchased. This successfully covered the former processing capacity.

Since the liquid for a new product was very viscous, it took nearly one day for the initial mixing process.

This is the best-suited large system for a manufacture batch of about 10 to 20kg per day. The time for the initial mixing process was greatly shortened from 1 day to about 10 minutes. Only the finishing process for dispersing particles is carried out using the roll mill as before. The efficiency of the overall production process has been greatly improved.

It took one to two hours for manual kneading.

After the installation, a homogeneous ointment free from bubbles was successfully prepared in about one minute.
