I would like to express my sincere condolence and sympathy to those who were severely affected by the East Japan Great Earthquake that occurred in March 2011.
The earthquake of this time was beyond the scope of the assumption of experts and made us fully realize how powerless we human beings are against the menace of nature. Nuclear electric power generation based on the essence of science and technology has been damaged and the “safety myth” has collapsed. Under such circumstance, saving electricity is urged nationwide and the Japan’s energy policy now faces a possible major change.
Kurabo has always worked on energy saving with a recognition that practicing energy-saving efforts with an aim to minimize environmental load is our primary responsibility as a member of the society. While we are confident in our accomplishments brought about through our consistent efforts over the years, each of us in the Company is now determined to further make effective efforts toward energy saving, working united to overcome this transition period.
Holding the perception that environmental efforts are an important managerial issue as well as the obligation for a responsible corporate citizen, Kurabo and all its employees will continue to address environmental problems so that we can pass on bountiful nature to the future generations.
Kurabo and its entire group are jointly eager to carry out the corporate social responsibility and contribute to communities. We ask for your continued support and understanding.
