Through the entire life cycle of products including merchandise development, production, distribution, consumption, disposal and recycling, where traditionally economic efficiency and mass production were the primary focus, the trend of our times strongly urges us to put more importance on environmental conservation and the reduction of the environmental burden. Kurabo, based on its Human Friendly Concept, which focuses on sound environment for people and the earth, aims to reduce the environmental burden throughout the entire stage of the product life cycle.

An environment booth is set up every year in the Textile Business Division Exhibit to introduce Kurabo's environmental conservation activities. The efforts made by Tokushima Plant to reduce CO2 emission was introduced this year as a case example. The eco-friendly products were also exhibited for which our efforts to reduce environmental burden in the process of manufacture and in use were explained.
