| TRI-GENERATION SYSTEM |
Overview |
Contribution to the environment |
 |
1.Uses exhaust gas (CO2) produced in cogeneration (reuse of residual heat from the generation for air heating, etc.) to enhance growth of plants.
2.Reduces hazardous nitrogen oxide (NOx) contained in exhaust gas to the atmospheric level.
3.Concentration of leak ammonia is 1 ppm or less.
|
| Division:Engineering Division |
|
Prevention of air pollution
Purifies exhaust gas produced in cogeneration and removes hazardous nitrogen oxide.
Prevention of warming
·In addition to the merit of cogeneration (recovery of thermal energy), reduces CO2 in exhaust gas by making greenhouse plants absorb it. |

|
An environment booth is set up every year in the Textile Business Division Exhibit to introduce Kurabo's environmental conservation activities. As one of our new efforts of this year, we conducted a life cycle assessment (LCA) of textile products (dyed material), calculated the total amount of CO2 emitted in the process from collection of resources to production of the product, and presented the results. The eco-friendly products were also exhibited for which our efforts to reduce environmental burden in the process of manufacture and in use were explained.
