GeneFields-Hair Kit employs Multiplex PCR amplification and DNA Chromatography technologies. PCR Oligo Mix provided in the kit contains primers required for amplification of DNA of 9 animal species, Pig, Bear, Cat, Dog, Human, Mouse, Rat, Rabbit and Raccoon Dog. It enables to simultaneously identify 9 animal species in a single test.
The Detection limit is as low as 1 ng of DNA.
